Serbia has one of the most competitive tax regimes in Europe. Corporate tax, capital gains tax and dividend tax and income tax are all set at 15%, with many tax advantages for foreign companies and workers. Double taxation treaties are in force with over 60 countries. There is no capital duty or payroll tax, nor a wealth tax. Transfer of property (tangible or intangible) is taxed at 2,5%.

Serbia enjoys a free trade regime with the EU, the UK and Russia-simultaneously (as well as Turkey and the countries of the Western Balkans). The country has not adopted sanctions against Russian companies or individuals. It also has excellent trade relations with China and the Middle East. Serbia is also easy to visit for your trading partners: EU, US, Chinese, Indian, Iranian and many other countries’ citizens can visit visa-free.

When relocating, comfort is important. Belgrade Airport is centrally located, less than three hours from London, Moscow and Tel Aviv. The climate is humid subtropical, with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year and winters that are cold but not severe. The cost of living is relatively low, while shopping and entertainment options in Belgrade and Novi Sad are world-class.
